Karen's our strategic planning guru; finding customer and competitive insights, developing brand strategy, positioning, creative strategy and results analysis.  She’s also our day-to-day cat herder, keeping the project management details all in a line.

Karen co-founded Little Red Bird after six years in her own marketing consultant practice.  Prior to that she was a VP at EMA/PriceMcNabb in Charlotte, and led account planning/management teams at Buck & Pulleyn in Rochester, N.Y., Young & Rubicam/New York and DDB Advertising/New York.  Karen has an insider’s view on a variety of industries, after managing accounts ranging from Western Carolina University, Lowe’s Companies, Family Dollar, blueharbor bank, Audi of America, Xerox Corporation, HSBC Mortgage Services, and TWA Airlines.

Karen, her husband and their two daughters live in south Charlotte.  As a former competitive gymnast, she knows a thing or two about focus, performance and flexibility.
